photographer + writer

I’m a Hudson Valley–based photographer and writer specializing in entertainment and performance photography.

Currently, I am a photographer and full-time reporter for The Millerton News, where I cover local government, community life, and the arts across northeastern Dutchess County and northwest Connecticut. Since joining the paper in May 2025, I have become a regular presence at town meetings, community events, and local businesses, documenting the people and news that define the region. I have interviewed farmers, small business owners, artists, students, and longtime residents.

I earned my B.A. in print journalism from Quinnipiac University in 2009 and began my career in the Boston media market as a radio sound board operator and an editorial assistant and reporter for the Boston Herald. I may have even had a stint as an MTV VJ in my early professional years.

I first picked up a camera in 2017 and have since developed a specialty in portraits and theatre photography, documenting Broadway talent, emerging artists, and members of the community.
